The vegetable shortening is a fluffy whipped butter consistency
The Australian brand COPHA is not a substitute for this product and won't work as a suitable adheasive (in reference to the Cricut Cake Machine)
Recipe for Yummy perfectly whipped Buttercream Frosting:
The Crisco works best at room temperature
Whip it until soft
Slowly add the pure icing sugar and milk in alternate batches
Mix until light and fluffy and you can see that the icing sugar has blended in .
If you find that the icing is too firm to spread or pipe add some more milk
If you find that the icing is too soft or not standing up nicely when piped, add some more icing sugar.
You can store the buttercream or better still make up a big batch like this and then store the excess in the freezer.
Then when someone says…………………..I feel like a cupcake, you can whip it out of the freezer, defrost and you are ready to ice and decorate!
You can add some flavor and colour to your icing by using our Flavour/Colours. They give the most unbelievable flavour with a tint of colour – I highly recommend the Raspberry!

Mom' supply finished and it;s hard to get Crisco off the shelf here in WA so ordered them from Robert's Confectionery...it's my 2nd time and didn't let me down in terms of communication and also the speed of delivery. It has always been an awesome experience ordering from them.!!!

Needed it in a hurry and so happy it turned up next day express post. Last time I ordered Crisco from another online place it did arrive eventually but was only 2 months from use by date.
Those I got from you I have until 2014.
Will need to reorder before then.
